Yardzen is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Vice President of Sales & Revenue to lead our growing sales organization. This role is focused on building, developing, and managing a high-performing sales team to consistently hit and exceed revenue targets. You’ll be singularly accountable for the entire sales function - from team leadership and coaching, to pipeline management, to performance tracking - ensuring Yardzen’s sales motion is efficient, scalable, and effective.The VP of Sales & Revenue will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in Yardzen’s direct-to-consumer growth, serving as the leader who sets the tone, culture, and pace for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Set clear performance expectations, establish quotas, and hold the team accountable to metrics.
  • Build a strong sales culture grounded in coaching, motivation, and results.
  • Implement and refine sales processes, tools, and reporting to drive efficiency and transparency.
  • Manage the full sales funnel: lead distribution, pipeline health, conversion rates, and close rates.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure a steady, high-quality lead flow and alignment on demand generation.
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, reporting, and quota setting.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent as the team scales.
  • Monitor performance data and use insights to continually improve team output and individual rep success.
  • Represent the sales team’s needs and insights to leadership to inform broader company decisions.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a strong track record of leading inside or direct-to-consumer sales teams to exceed aggressive revenue targets.
  • Experience managing and growing sales teams of 10+ people, with proven success in coaching and motivating reps.
  • Deep understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills to track performance and drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills—you inspire, set high standards, and lead from the front.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Experience in consumer services or project-based sales is a plus.
  • Passion for design, home improvement, sustainability, and Yardzen’s mission is a strong bonus.
