Superside is hiring a Creative Project Management Team Lead to elevate delivery quality and team performance across our global creative operations.
You’ll lead a pod of ~10 CPMs managing major enterprise accounts, collaborating with 3–5 peer Team Leads who each own their own portfolios. This hybrid role combines people leadership and senior delivery.
You’ll mentor CPMs to improve output quality, reduce project risk, and drive retention and growth, while directly managing complex, high-value accounts that benefit from your expertise.
What You'll Do
- Build and lead a high-performing CPM team that consistently delivers on-time, on-scope, and on-quality creative work.
- Spot performance issues early, use RCA (root cause analysis) to drive improvements, and measure tangible results.
- Plan capacity smartly, balancing workloads, PTO, and priorities to sustain performance and prevent burnout.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects directly, ensuring clear scopes, proactive risk management, and smooth execution.
- Earn customer trust through strong judgment, confident communication, and reliable delivery on high-value engagements.
- Model account stewardship that leads to renewals, expansions, and upgrades; coach CPMs on commercial awareness.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, AEs, Creative Leads, and Creatives to maintain alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Apply AI and automation where it adds efficiency without compromising quality; share insights to refine workflows and playbooks.
- Use data (utilization, CSAT, issue rates, AI adoption) to coach, optimize, and make objective decisions.
- Run crisp rituals (kickoffs, reviews, approvals, retros) that create visibility, accountability, and alignment.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- 5+ years managing creative, marketing, or production projects in agency or in-house settings.
- 2+ years leading project managers or equivalent delivery leaders.
- Proven success managing complex, customer-facing engagements end to end.
- Demonstrated ability to coach for performance through clear standards and consistent feedback.
- Strong judgment in balancing customer needs with operational constraints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication under pressure and in high-stakes situations.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and eagerness to drive practical adoption.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, globally distributed, fully remote environment.
- Some experience scaling delivery teams in startup or transformation contexts.
- Preferably some exposure across creative disciplines (motion, video, web, brand, campaigns).
- Background in capacity planning or delivery governance at scale.
