Narvar is growing! As a Senior Logistics Manager at Narvar, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics operations within our SaaS platform. You will drive the strategy, planning, and execution of complex logistics programs to enhance our product offerings and ensure seamless delivery experiences for our customers. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and exceptional project management skills to deliver scalable and efficient logistics solutions.

Day-to-day

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with the company’s goals and customer needs.
  • Identify and analyze industry trends, customer feedback, and operational data to drive continuous improvement in logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales) to define logistics requirements and priorities.

Program Management

  • Lead and manage multiple logistics programs and projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.
  • Establish clear goals, timelines, and KPIs for each program, and monitor progress against these metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related matters, both internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize logistics operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to track and communicate program performance and outcomes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance logistics capabilities.
    • Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to drive innovation in logistics management.
    • Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What we’re looking for

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a tier 1 college. A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or program management, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale logistics programs and projects.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
