Mercator AI
About Mercator.ai
Mercator.ai is the fastest, most accurate way for General Contractors to spot early, viable projects. Our AI engine delivers 100% coverage of public and private opportunities—from concept to completion—turning raw project signals into actionable, relationship-ready intelligence that drives revenue in the built world.
We’re building a category-defining product—and now we’re ready to scale nationally.
Role Snapshot
We’re hiring an AI-driven Content + Demand Gen Marketer to own high-volume content creation, distribution, and performance analysis at Mercator.ai. You need to be obsessed with creating content and leveraging AI and tooling, have end-to-end skills in getting content out and seen and be data-driven in making decisive decisions on what is working and what isn’t.
This is a Doer and Thinker execution role, not a strategy-only marketing job. You will need to be proficient at time blocking, installing rhythms and batching work in order to be successful in this role, as well as constantly asking yourself how you can automate.
You are not starting from scratch—you are expected to jump into existing systems, improve them immediately, and make them faster, smarter, and more scalable.
You’ll jump into our AI-enabled content engine that produces ~80 pieces of content per day, distributes them across channels, turns top performers into ads, and continuously refines output based on performance. You’ll turn sales and customer conversations into marketing fuel, and run continuous test-and-learn loops across organic and paid channels (email, webinars, newsletters, SEO, ads, and outbound). This role sits at the intersection of content marketing, copy, AI, and analytics.
You’re obsessed with creating content, but equally obsessed with measuring it, refining it.
This is an accordion role:
- Push content out at scale
- Pull insights back in
- Double down on what works
- Shut off what doesn’t
- Repeat
A core part of this role is identifying and relieving bottlenecks across our marketing systems so we can scale faster—whether that’s content creation, distribution, tooling, or workflow design
You’ll own and host our webinar series that runs every 2 weeks, ensuring we have content, the webinar is promoted, and followed up on.
You’ll write monthly articles for various business journals that you’ll need to draft, publish, promote and of course, turn into additional content.
You’ll also own our website (we use Webflow)
What makes you fit
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in growth, content, or demand generation roles, with proven ownership of content-led demand generation end-to-end
- Hands-on experience producing high volumes of content, ideally using AI-enabled systems and smart workflows
- Strong Canva skills are required. You are fast, efficient, and comfortable batching and scheduling content at scale
- Experience running content programs tied to a clear ICP, including webinars, reports, campaigns, and launches
- Strong data fluency. You understand funnel metrics, efficiency, and how marketing ties directly to pipeline and revenue
- Highly AI-literate, with practical experience using AI and automation tools such as GPT-based workflows, Claude, n8n, Make, Zapier, and custom agents to scale content production, distribution, and performance analysis
- Comfortable working across a modern marketing tool stack, including HubSpot, Slack, Grain, Meta Business Manager, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Cloud Code, and Canva
- Experience with paid media and experimentation. You are comfortable testing quickly, pivoting fast, and turning channels off when they do not perform
- Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM systems. HubSpot experience preferred
- Strong copy instincts. You care deeply about messaging, positioning, hooks, and offers
- Comfortable building and maintaining dashboards to share performance and insights with leadership
- Analytical mindset. You consistently dig into why something worked or did not and adjust accordingly
- Startup or early-stage experience. You enjoy building systems, iterating quickly, and operating without heavy structure
- Comfortable on camera and confident hosting webinars, bringing energy and clarity to live sessions
- Experience managing or updating websites. Webflow experience is a plus
- B2B SaaS background, especially in sales-led or product-led growth environments
- Experience in construction, real estate, or adjacent industries is an asset
- Bonus but noticeable: familiarity with or obsession over Alex Hormozi–style methodologies, with real-world implementation and results to back it up
What you'll own:
As systems mature, you’ll help identify what can be automated or delegated to virtual assistants so your time stays focused on the highest-leverage work.
