Role Snapshot
We're looking for a Head of Data Acquisition to own our approach to discovering and securing the data that drives our growth. You’re a strategic relationship-builder, a creative thinker, a sharp negotiator, and very familiar with the real-estate/construction lifecycle. You’ll identify unique opportunities for us to close key customer information gaps, lead the charge on bringing high-value data into our ecosystem, and negotiate partnerships long-term win-win partnerships. You’ll be creative, resourceful and tenacious, helping make the impossible possible!
You won’t just manage vendor and government relationships, you’ll build a scalable, repeatable acquisition engine that turns real-world construction activity data into structured, useful insights. This is a highly cross-functional role: while you’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and sales, you’ll also be establishing and leading your own distinct discipline at the company.
What Makes You a Fit:
- You have a strong understanding of the commercial or industrial construction industry, or have a proven ability to quickly learn and immerse yourself in new industries
- Min 3-5 years working with data vendors, including vendor analysis and building B2B partnerships
- A proven track record of securing data partnerships across public, private, and government sectors
- Strong communicator and confident negotiator
- Technically fluent enough to effectively assess the quality of the data and effectively collaborate with engineering/data teams
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate data needs into actionable technical requirements and ensure alignment on data integration, quality, and roadmap priorities
- Strategic thinker with experience in roadmapping and growth planning

- Lead discovery and acquisition of data sources in new markets
- Own and manage relationships with data vendors and public/private partners
- Negotiate contracts and partnership terms
- Validate and assess data sets with technical teams
- Support go-to-market analysis and expansion planning
- Help define and execute our strategic data roadmap
