What's the Role?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead and expand our SDR team at Glow. You will be responsible for managing a team of 10 SDRs, driving the team’s performance, and scaling the team as the business grows. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a people-oriented leader with a proven track record in sales development and team management. This role will require a hands-on approach to building a high-performing team that consistently meets and exceeds lead generation and pipeline development goals.
You'll be responsible for
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 10 SDRs, providing regular coaching and performance feedback. Lead efforts to recruit, onboard, and train new team members as you build out the SDR team.
- Pipeline & Target Management: Set and manage inbound/outbound pipeline targets, ensuring that the team consistently meets lead generation goals. Monitor KPIs and other metrics to evaluate and enhance team effectiveness.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and oversee the execution of the sales development playbook, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategies. Collaborate closely with sales leadership to refine processes and improve team performance.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and seamless handoff of leads. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve SDR processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and technology enhancements to support the team’s success.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on team performance, pipeline status, and forecasted results to senior leadership. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategy.
- Market Knowledge & Product Expertise: Stay informed about Glow’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Ensure the SDR team is well-versed in product knowledge and can effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers.
You'll be a good fit if you have
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales development or a related field, with at least 2 year in a leadership or management role. Experience in SaaS or technology product sales is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team to achieve high performance. Experience in building and scaling teams is a plus.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales development process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and pipeline management. Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales software to track performance and generate reports. Ability to analyze data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work Onsite: This role is office based, and you'll be required to work onsite from our Kickstart office on MM Alam road, Lahore
