About This Role:
As a Systems Administrator, you will own the day-to-day management of Crexi’s robust and cutting-edge technology stack including but not limited to design, deployment, troubleshooting, migration, backup, and recovery. You will work closely with the Systems and Technology Manager on the configuration and administration of IT systems including SaaS applications and our proprietary tools, to support cross-functional teams across the business, nationwide, and at scale.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor and analyze the IT technology stack and other mission-critical systems, ensuring optimal security, efficiently and uptime SLA as well as aiding in the selection and deployment of new technologies
- Design, test and deploy new systems, partnering with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class experiences, including onboarding and offboarding systems and their user groups, and working with vendors on technical and operational functionality
- Manage systems to meet Crexi’s and our customer’s security and regulatory expectations, to include formulating, testing and deploying user roles, rights and security policies
- Be the resident expert on developments in the industry and advise upper management
- Lead Crexi’s documentation process, keeping technical and organizational excellence
Who You Are:
- 3+ years’ experience in a systems administrator role
- Experience with Jumpcloud, Microsoft Azure and Office365
- Strong knowledge of network methodologies
- Proven track record of managing various systems, including implementation, change management, and process documentation
- Experience with scripting, automation workflows, VMWare and similar technologies
- Strong working knowledge of Mac OSX
- Working knowledge of Windows and Ubuntu
- Working knowledge of BASH and PowerShell
- Strong understanding of industry INFOSEC & Zero-Trust best practices
Nice - to - Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Industry certifications in related tools and methodologies
- Cisco Meraki networking knowledge and/or certification(s)
- Working knowledge of Python and Java / JS in a professional capacity
- SQL database knowledge and ability to structure and run complex queries
- Experience administrating Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Google Workspace, Netsuite, and Airtable.
- Direct experience with NIST 800-73, ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 Type II guidelines

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $111,000 - $130,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc (“Crexi”) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
