About the Role


As a Salesforce Administrator at Crexi, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining our Salesforce environment, ensuring the system is tailored to meet our business needs and is fully integrated with other key systems. You will report into the Revenue Operations team and work closely with various functions across the organization including Sales, Marketing, Billing and Operational Growth, to ensure Salesforce continues to drive efficiency, data accuracy, and valuable insights across all functions. What You'll Do:


Project Planning (15%)



  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.

  • Lead and participate in project planning for system upgrades, new feature implementations, and Salesforce enhancements.

  • Set clear project timelines and manage cross-functional teams to deliver on Salesforce initiatives while ensuring adherence to deadlines and resource constraints.

  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions by creating and managing project documentation, including requirement specifications, workflows, and timelines.


Salesforce Configuration & Optimization (40%)



  • Customization and Configuration: Maintain and configure Salesforce to meet business needs, including custom objects, fields, workflows, process builder, validation rules, approval processes, and record types.

  • User Management: Oversee user profiles, permissions, and role hierarchies. Manage user access and ensure proper setup for different teams based on their needs.

  • Automation: Design and implement automation processes using tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules to improve operational efficiency.

  • System Updates: Regularly evaluate and apply updates to Salesforce features, ensuring they align with business processes and stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases.

  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Handle day-to-day support requests, system errors, and troubleshooting, ensuring that Salesforce is always functioning smoothly and efficiently for users.


Revenue System Configuration & Optimization (25%)



  • Integration Management: Work closely with Revenue Operations, Engineering, Integrations, and other departments to integrate Salesforce with other revenue systems (engagement, conversational intelligence, CPQ, etc.) to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

  • Lead-to-Cash Process: Work closely with Revenue Operations to optimize the entire revenue lifecycle by ensuring Salesforce is configured to track leads, opportunities, quotes, orders, and revenue accurately.

  • Sales Process Alignment: Collaborate with sales leadership to continuously assess and refine the sales processes and ensure Salesforce configurations reflect the current business needs.

  • Data Flow & Synchronization: Ensure the proper synchronization of Salesforce with other revenue management tools to maintain consistent and accurate data across the organization.


Security Management (10%)



  • Data Security: Implement and enforce Salesforce security best practices to protect sensitive company and customer data.

  • User Permissions & Access Controls: Manage and audit user permissions to ensure appropriate levels of access to data and processes based on job roles.

  • Compliance: Ensure that Salesforce configurations comply with data privacy and security regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant standards.


Reporting & Insights (10%)



  • Reporting Creation: Design and manage custom reports and dashboards to assist Revenue Operations and Business Intelligence in providing actionable insights to stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

  • Data Accuracy: Ensure that reporting and analytics data is accurate and aligned with business goals, helping decision-makers track key metrics like sales performance, pipeline health, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc data analysis and reports to business leaders, offering insights into Salesforce usage, trends, and system performance.



Who You Are:



  • Proven Experience: You have at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce as an administrator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other modules.

  • Salesforce Certification: You have a Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification (or are working toward it), with a deep knowledge of Salesforce configuration, automation, customization best practices, and new AI elements.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: You are adept at designing reports and dashboards to provide key insights, and you’re able to identify patterns and trends that influence business decisions.

  • Technical Expertise: You have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including objects, fields, workflows, automation tools, and integrations with third-party platforms.

  • Collaboration-Oriented: You thrive in cross-functional team environments and enjoy collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and IT to implement solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Detail-Oriented: You are meticulous in ensuring data accuracy, system optimization, and user satisfaction. You pay attention to detail to ensure Salesforce functions smoothly across teams.

  • Problem-Solver: You are proactive in identifying issues and come up with creative solutions to enhance system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.

  • Strong Communication: You excel in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensuring that Salesforce changes and improvements are well understood by end-users.

  • In-Office Presence: While remote work is an option, being based in Los Angeles and working in-person at the office is highly preferred to foster collaboration, teamwork, and seamless communication with cross-functional teams.

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $95,000 to $130,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc ("Crexi") is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
