About Change

At Change, we’re building a modern donation platform to make it easy to integrate giving into any experience. Companies like Care/of are using our API to add donations to their rewards program. Platforms like Metaplex are using our crypto wallets to add perpetual donations to their NFT secondary sales. Our bottom line: increase the amount of good done on the internet by making it super easy. We are a fast-paced fintech company, with an emphasis on consumer trust and efficient nonprofit payouts. We are a privately held company born in San Francisco, CA funded by Sequoia Capital, Dapper Labs, Humans VC, GC&H, and other renowned investors.

Summary of the position

You’ll be the fourth full-time employee at Change, and the second full-time engineer. You’ll participate in every stage of the engineering lifecycle, from architecture to implementation. You’ll have plenty of opportunities for ownership over the products we build. As we grow, you’ll get to define your own career track and lean into architecture, management, or product.

A fully-featured API for making donations. Built with Rails, AWS.

Custodial wallets for over 200K nonprofits. Built with Rails, AWS, Ethereum, Solana.

Web app for donating Solana (SOL). Built with Eleventy, Lit, TypeScript.

Qualifications

• CS degree or equivalent

• 3+ years of professional experience in web API development or crypto development

• Motivation to do good in the world, and make an impact at scale

• Ability to navigate unknowns and build creative solutions
