With 160 employees and $48 million in Series A venture funding, this fast-growing startup has already achieved a 94% guest satisfaction rate. They are currently hiring Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to help drive bookings across a curated portfolio of premium properties. This is a fully remote opportunity within the U.S., ideal for motivated sales professionals eager to join a leading travel tech company in a high-growth phase.

The company is disrupting the $1.3 trillion lodging industry by delivering a guest experience that merges the best elements of hospitality from both traditional hotels and vacation rentals.

The home operations team plays a critical role in bringing this vision to life — managing property maintenance, implementing upgrades, and integrating smart home technology.

Location: Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with potential customers across the Canadian market through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Own the full sales process from initial contact and product demonstration to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients to understand their needs, ensure satisfaction, and encourage renewals and upsells.
  • Stay informed about market trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscape specific to the Canadian region.
  • Tailor product or service offerings based on the client’s business needs and challenges.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Consistently achieve individual revenue and performance goals within assigned Canadian territories or verticals.
  • Log all interactions, pipeline updates, and sales activities accurately in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Lead compelling virtual or in-person demos tailored to client needs and use cases.
  • Ensure all sales practices comply with Canadian data privacy, business conduct, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • In Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Preferably in B2B, SaaS, technology, or a related industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is often a strong asset for Canadian roles.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Experience using sales platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of regional customer needs, market dynamics, and business practices across provinces.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay focused in a remote or hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to conduct product demos and lead contract discussions confidently.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and customer success.
  • Must be legally permitted to live and work in Canada.
