Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing for mid-market accounts.
  • Strategically plan and prioritize accounts within the western U.S. region to achieve quota and regional growth targets.
  • Identify, engage, and convert new mid-market prospects through outbound efforts, events, and inbound leads.
  • Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders in target companies.
  • Deliver compelling product demos tailored to the specific needs of each mid-market client.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, customer success, and product teams to deliver value and close deals.
  • Log all activity, pipeline status, and forecasting data accurately in tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Remain informed about market shifts, competitor movements, and industry best practices relevant to your region and clients.
  • Lead contract discussions with procurement teams and key stakeholders to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals assigned to your territory.

Minimum Qualifications

  • In Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven track record in selling to mid-market clients, preferably in tech, SaaS, or a related industry.
  • Able to clearly convey value propositions to stakeholders at various levels, including C-suite.
  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms to manage pipelines and track activity.
  • Consistent performance in hitting sales targets and managing a full sales cycle.
  • Understanding of outbound prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Ability to manage a geographic region (e.g., Western U.S.) and prioritize accounts accordingly.
  • Capable of working independently and staying focused in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams.
  • Open to occasional travel for client meetings, events, or conferences within the assigned region.
