Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to meet revenue goals and drive sustainable growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring continuous development and performance.
- Identify new market opportunities and define plans to penetrate target verticals or customer segments.
- Own sales forecasting and pipeline management, delivering accurate projections and actionable insights to leadership.
- Establish and optimize sales processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the sales organization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to align go-to-market efforts.
- Monitor key sales metrics and KPIs, using data to drive decisions and improve overall team performance.
- Drive strategic deals and enterprise accounts, providing hands-on support to close high-value opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent, shaping a high-performance and values-driven team culture.
- Represent the company externally, building relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and potential partners.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving team performance in a high-growth environment.
- Experience in building, scaling, and leading sales teams, ideally within SaaS, tech, or services industries.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN) and sales funnel management.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with experience using CRM and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Demonstrated ability to strategize and execute go-to-market plans, including segmentation and territory planning.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills—able to inspire, lead, and hold teams accountable.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with product, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Comfortable navigating both strategic planning and hands-on selling, especially in early-stage or agile companies.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
