As an Events Manager at BetterUp, you will work alongside an all star events team and play a key role in ideating, planning, executing, and managing a wide variety of strategic B2B marketing event programs; from large-scale 3rd party conferences, to monthly webinar series, virtual events and leading critical workstreams within BetterUp tentpole events. As part of the Demand Marketing team, you will work cross-functionally with teams including marketing operations, sales, creative, content marketing, product and field enablement to create impactful experiences that drive awareness, engagement and generate MQLs and sales pipeline. What you’ll do:
Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, execution and measurement of B2B lead generation virtual and in-person programs, including trade shows and 3rd party programs, virtual events and monthly webinars. Contribute to the development of the company’s event demand strategy, identifying new opportunities for brand engagement, audience and inbound MQL growth, and market penetration.
Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration: brief development, managing project kickoffs, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.Partner with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, customer success) to ensure event objectives align with broader company goals, including lead generation, customer engagement, and brand positioning.
Marketing & Promotion: Work with the demand marketing team to promote events through digital channels, email campaigns, 1:1 outreach, social media, and other promotional tactics to drive registration and meet attendance goals.
Reporting & Data Analysis: Ensure event drives pipeline, engagement, and aligns with the overall business goals. Report on key results and learnings from events. Use data and insights to iterate and adjust the strategy for future events, continuously improving our calendar, processes and outcomes.
If you have most or all of the following, please apply:
3-5 years of experience in marketing event planning or management in a B2B and SaaS environment.
Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale, high-impact events and programs (both virtual and in-person)
Developed and executed highly targeted marketing event programs specifically designed for enterprise and Global 500 audiences, including role-level targeting
Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple events simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior executives, partners, and attendees.
Ability to work under pressure, solve problems on the fly, and adapt to changing circumstances
Expertise in event technology platforms (Goldcast, Zoom Webinar, Hopin, or On24)
Proficiency in Reporting, Marketing and CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Looker). Asana, Airtable, Figma, ChatGPT and Excel proficiency are a plus.
Detail-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional attendee experiences
Ability to travel to oversee event logistics and support in-person events.

At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, residence location, as well as market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this role is $91,000 – $157,000.
If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is:
$105,000 – $157,000 : New York City
$91,000 – $137,000 : Nassau, Newburgh
