Let’s face it, a company whose mission is human transformation better have some fresh thinking about the employer/employee relationship.

We do. We can’t cram it all in here, but you’ll start noticing it from the first interview.

Even our candidate experience is different. And when you get an offer from us (and accept it), you get way more than a paycheck. You get a personal BetterUp Coach, a development plan, a trained and coached manager, the most amazing team you’ve ever met (yes, each with their own personal BetterUp Coach), and most importantly, work that matters. This makes for a remarkably focused and fulfilling work experience. Frankly, it’s not for everyone. But for people with fire in their belly, it’s a game-changing, career-defining, soul-lifting move.

Join us and we promise you the most intense and fulfilling years of your career, doing life-changing work in a fun, inventive, soulful culture.

If that sounds exciting—and the job description below feels like a fit—we really should start talking.

We are looking for a Content Manager to join our Brand team. At BetterUp we know transformation isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you work for. Building a category that doesn’t exist requires grit, practicing imagination, agility, and at times rethinking our approach along the way. We’re building the next iconic performance brand and need a strategic content manager who takes bold swings and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

As a Content Manager on our Brand team within our broader Marketing department, you will build content that’s informed by C-level customer pain points, our science, and solutions, ultimately positioning BetterUp as a strategic partner for growth and the Human Transformation Management (HTM) category as essential for sustained peak performance. We need a strategic-doer who understands how to structure content to support our core narratives, and to adapt that content for a variety of audiences and owned channels (social, web, event, email).

The role will focus on creating content for a range of audience levels, with a key focus on VP+ (emerging CxOs) within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) with the objectives of educating and inspiring our audience, positioning BetterUp as the solution and ultimately driving engagement and adoption. You’ll support content needs across the full funnel from awareness to conversion, helping to bridge the gap between thought leadership and our commercial teachings. Success will be measured by the ability to deliver and accelerate both brand and business objectives.

What you’ll do:

    • Produce short-form content to drive awareness, position BetterUp as a destination for thought leadership, support campaign-themed hubs, pre-, during, and post-event communications, social media, and sales conversations.

    • Project manage derivative nurture content, including inner-team SLAs, approval process, and milestones in Asana to ensure cross-functional alignment.

    • Content will be measured by its ability to successfully generate MQLs, leading to deal opportunities and sales first meetings.

    • In partnership with the Director of Content and Product Marketing, spearheaded the launch of a fully optimized, searchable Content Library tagged by solution, role level, buyer journey, etc.

    • Conduct quarterly audits of the Content Library to ensure the latest and most relevant content that aligns with our core narrative is available.

    • With content team leads of respective channels and Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) partners (Content Director, MOPs Director), work to analyze channel strategy and content performance across all social, web, email, and events.

    • Report on results on a monthly basis, and identify ways to better serve our community, opportunities for optimization, and ideas for future campaigns.

    • Surface real-time content opportunities based on trends and conversations online and work with our Content, PR, Demand, and Creative teams to engage in these moments.

  • BetterUp Social Platforms:

    • You will drive the strategy, content and execution of elevated, on-brand, polished and consistent social content.

    • Plan, organize, and coordinate with the Content Team and cross-functional collaborators to develop our social content strategy to align with business objectives, announcements, integrated campaigns, and priorities.

    • Partner with our Content Director and wider content team to reset our social strategy (for LinkedIn, Instagram and X)to align with and amplify our core narratives, product and customer storytelling, quarterly campaigns, etc.
