You are a data procurement specialist with a knack for sourcing unique data sets - you consider yourself a data sleuth, ready to make the impossible happen! ○ An individual who is organized, understands when it's appropriate to do things right vs. doing them fast, and has strong communication skills working with technical teams

What Makes You a Fit:

• A critical thinker and proactive individual who’s able to brainstorm new data sourcing approaches when encountering roadblocks
• Prior experience in commercial or industrial construction is a huge plus! Skills
• 5+ years running vendor analyses with paid data vendors
• 3+ years of establishing new data partnerships with public, private, and government entities
• 3+ years conducting preliminary data analysis to validate new data sets ○ Proficiency with Python or other data analysis languages
• Practical understanding of database architectures with the purpose of developing data integration strategies
• Experience developing and implementing strategic roadmaps

What you’ll tackle:

• Scouting data sources in new markets
• Conducting market analysis to validate business cases for new markets
• Negotiating pricing contracts and developing data partnerships
• Developing the company's market expansion roadmap
• Developing relationships with government teams
• Evaluating new data sets & working with the data team to document mapping requirements for the engineering team
