What you’ll do: We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS, with extensive experience in reporting metrics, analyzing financial data, and contributing to business strategy.
- Calculate and analyze key SaaS metrics, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Gross Retention Rate (GRR), and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- Evaluate deal margin expectations, analyze impacts to our gross margin, and propose optimization strategies.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends and analyzing variances.
- Support aspects of reporting throughout the P&L statement, ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights, support decision-making, and drive the implementation of financial strategies.
- Develop and enhance financial models to forecast and analyze trends.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and financial policies and regulations.
If you have some or all of the following, please apply:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- 4 years of experience in planning, evaluation, business, and financial analysis.
- Ability to adapt swiftly in a rapidly changing business environment and exhibit strong mental agility.
- Deep understanding and expertise in SaaS business models and financial drivers.
- Experience in partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions.
- Advanced Excel and Google Suite skills.
- Experience with Netsuite Planning & Budgeting preferred (or similar Planning & ERP tools).

At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, residence location, as well as market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this role is $111,050 – $188,550.
If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is:
$125,700 – $188,550: New York City
$118,300 – $177,500: Nassau, Newburgh
$111,050 – $166,600: Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse
